I love you guys. I truly, truly do. This was the first fandom I really got involved in, and I still love the story since I initially played through it.

However.

A very small chunk here continuously steal my works and play them as their own, and it's so tiring. I'm just done. I'm quite upset, and. Urgh, it's so frustrating!

I mean, it's one thing to take my drawings and edit over them, but now people are stealing my writing/RP blog stuff and putting it upon theirs as though they wrote it: vasyenka.tumblr.com/post/10827… (the matter has since been resolved, but not without my threatening further action and having to pursue this for HOURS!)

Please do not support art thieves. Please do not support others who steal a creator's work, whether it be writing or even an awesome idea. Just don't.

Hey guys! It pains me that another occurrence of my stuff being posted without my knowledge has been committed, but on a much grander scale~

How many of you guys heard of HogwartsIsHere ( hogwartsishere.com )? It's been gaining a lot of attention lately, and rightly so! After all, it's a very professional appearing website, with all the aesthetics any Potterhead would enjoy, myself included. The only problem? They've posted my group's cosplay photos without initial permission from our photographer. ; ( 37.media.tumblr.com/4b60d3f695… )

Now, while we are okay with our cosplay pictures being used, the initial use without our permission has kind of rubbed us the wrong way. Originally I was proud that our pictures were used, but upon discovery that they were without our photographer's permission (which I originally thought they had), it hasn't sit well with me ha ha ( vasyenka.tumblr.com/post/83024… ). Our photographer is in talks regarding their future use of our photos, but for the sake of privacy issues concerning my group, I've been doing what I can to prevent further distribution of our pictures.

If you support HogwartsIsHere and want to share the site, by all means! However, I ask that you use a photograph other than our own, please. And yes, the same photograph that is on their site has been in my own gallery since 2012 ahaha~ orz;; ( shinivasyenka.deviantart.com/a… )
